Lisa Scott has over a decade of experience in education, primarily focusing on teacher preparation and support. Currently serving as Program Manager at the Public Education & Business Coalition (PEBC) since July 2015, Lisa oversees all operations related to the PEBC Teacher Residency, including enrollment and compliance with Colorado Department of Education licensure requirements. Prior to this role, Lisa was the Program Coordinator for the Stanley Teacher Preparation Program, which merged with PEBC in 2015. Lisa's background also includes experience as a Reading Specialist at Denver Public Schools, where lessons were designed for early literacy intervention, alongside earlier experience as a teaching intern while pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oregon.
