Scott Murphy

Scott Murphy has extensive work experience in education and organizational development. Scott worked as a Principal and Director at Jeffco Schools from 1992 to 2017, and prior to that, they were a Teacher at the same school. In 1994, they started their own consulting firm, providing leadership and collaborative consulting services. Scott also worked as a Facilitator at School Reform Initiative from 1999 to 2011 and at Colorado Critical Friends Group from 2000 to 2010. Currently, they are a Leadership and Staff Development Consultant at FAF Facilitation. In 2011, they served as the Education Director at PEBC- Public Education & Business Coalition, where they worked with school leaders on implementation and culture development. Throughout their years of experience, they have focused on developing organizations and supporting collaborative processes and facilitative leadership.

Scott Murphy has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Technical Communication from the University of Colorado Denver, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from San Jose State University from 1988 to 1991. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Principal Licensure from the Colorado Department of Education in August 2004 and became a Colorado Certified Teacher in June 1993.
