Teresa Goncalves

Teresa Goncalves serves as the Admissions and Selection Coordinator for the PEBC Residency Program, focusing on attracting diverse, high-quality candidates and supporting their transition into the program. Previously, Goncalves held various leadership roles at Denver Public Schools, including Director of Recruitment & Alumni Engagement and Assistant Principal, where responsibilities included data analysis, operational management, and fostering anti-racist mindsets. As a Team Specialist, Goncalves led the Multi Tiered Systems of Support process and successfully coached educators, and as an English Teacher, Goncalves achieved a Distinguished rating for four consecutive years through effective, culturally relevant instruction. Goncalves earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Georgia.
