Denisa Volekova is a Principal at Pedersen & Partners, specializing in providing top talent to leading energy companies in the CEE region and analyzing trends in the renewables and nuclear industries. Volekova has extensive experience in empowering women in business through innovative training programs, crisis management during the commissioning of a nuclear power plant, and leadership roles such as Interim-CEO and Director for the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom". Volekova also contributed to the success of KPMG Business Institute, developing proprietary training for over 100 women, and has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions from roles at ČEZ and The Boston Consulting Group. Educational qualifications include a Magister in Financial and Strategic Management from Univerzita Komenského in Bratislava and further studies at Thunderbird School of Global Management and the University of Groningen.
