Jihad Shoshara

Jihad Shoshara has extensive work experience in the medical field. Jihad started their career as a Resident Physician at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago from July 1996 to June 1999. In 1999, they became the President of Pediatric Health Associates. Since 2015, Jihad has served as the Chairman of Jordan Medical Missions at the Syrian American Medical Society, leading and organizing medical missions to serve Syrian and other refugees in Jordan, as well as advocating for their welfare in the US.

Jihad Shoshara completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago between 1987 and 1991. Following that, they pursued their medical education at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, earning their MD degree in Medicine from 1992 to 1996.
