Aniela Kieta has held a variety of roles since 2020. Aniela began their career as a Bilingual Election Judge for the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners in 2020. Aniela then went on to work at the University of Illinois Chicago as a COVID-19 Saliva Testing Aide, Event Usher Staff Supervisor, and Vaccinations Usher. In 2021, they began working at UI Health as a Research Assistant and Summer Scholars Researcher. Aniela currently works at Pediatrics On Demand as a Medical Scribe.
Aniela Kieta is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Health Studies, Health and Science concentration, a Bachelor of Arts in Polish, Russian, and Central and Eastern European Studies with a Concentration in Polish Studies, and minors in Biological Sciences and Chinese at the University of Illinois Chicago, which they began in 2019. Prior to this, Aniela graduated from Jones College Prep with a High School Diploma in 2016, and attended St Blase Polish Catholic School from 2006-2018. Aniela has also obtained certifications in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from The Johns Hopkins University (2022), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from MedTrainer (2021), Mandated Reporter from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (2021), Vaccine Ambassador Certificate from City Colleges of Chicago-Malcolm X College (2021), IPS for Researchers from the CITI Program (2021), Group 1. HSP, Biomedical Research Investigators and Key Personnel from the CITI Program (2021), and Mental Health First Aid Certification from the National Council for Behavioral Health (2021).
