Kevin Billings

Kevin Billings has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Kevin currently holds the position of Director of Data Engineering for Enterprise Data & Architecture at Pediatrix Medical Group. In this role, they are responsible for engineering and operating a modern data warehouse for analytics and reporting at scale. Kevin'steam enables various departments within the company to effectively monitor, analyze, and make data-driven decisions.

Prior to their current role, Kevin worked as a Corporate Technology Consultant at Kevlar Solutions and Services LLC from 2006 to 2022. In this position, they provided technology consulting services to corporate clients.

From 2017 to 2018, Kevin served as the Director of Business Intelligence at Bankers Healthcare Group. Here, they directed the development of dashboards and reports using various tools and implemented agile team management strategies to improve project response times.

Kevin also has a significant tenure at Nova Southeastern University, where they held multiple positions. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Director of Business Intelligence and Reporting Services, focusing on strategic planning and the implementation of BI tools. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Information Management from 2006 to 2015, overseeing application development, data architecture, and data transformation. Kevin also worked as a Web Application Developer and an Information Technology Specialist during their time at the university.

In addition to their work at various organizations, Kevin also worked as a System Administrator at Bimmerforums.com from 2001 to 2002. Here, they managed and maintained the technological infrastructure of an online community with over 500,000 members.

Kevin Billings has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Technology with a Concentration in Software Development from Nova Southeastern University, obtained from 2012 to 2014. Kevin also holds a Certificate in Business Intelligence / Analytics from the same institution during the same time period. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University from 2008 to 2012. Kevin'sundergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Information Systems, completed from 1994 to 1999 at Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including OpenHack: DevOps and OpenHack: Modern Data Warehousing from Microsoft OpenHack, Cloud Analytics certifications from Cloud Analytics Academy, Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org, and Lean Six Sigma certifications. Kevin has also completed leadership training provided by Nova Southeastern University.
