Greta Peretto, Ph.D., is an experienced R&D professional currently serving as R&D Manager at Pedon Group since June 2019. Previously, Greta held a role in R&D at Salix Srl from September 2015 to June 2019, focusing on the development of dietary supplements and innovative functional products, as well as maintaining databases and specifications in collaboration with quality assurance. Greta's early career includes a Ph.D. internship at USDA-ARS, where significant advancements were made in increasing the shelf life of strawberries using antimicrobial edible films and coatings. Greta's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Crop Science and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Food Science, all obtained from Università degli Studi di Padova.
