Debra Layton

Debra Layton is an experienced transformation executive currently serving as the Executive Director of The Peel Compton Foundation since January 2018. Previously, Layton held several senior positions at Walmart, including Senior Vice President of US Merchandising, where responsibilities encompassed Supplier Administration and Negotiation Strategy, and SVP for Small Formats, focusing on the fastest-growing market segments. Layton's international experience includes the role of Chief Merchandising Officer for Walmart Chile, leading the integration of D&S Retail into the Walmart portfolio. Earlier in the career, Layton was the VP of International Professional Services at Walmart. Layton's academic background includes alumni status from the University of Cambridge, and Layton studied at Missouri Southern State University.
