Angela de Jong

Angela De Jong currently serves as an IBEN Educator with the International Baccalaureate since October 2020, leading workshops and enhancing professional development opportunities. With extensive experience in the Peel District School Board, Angela has been the Cross-Curricular Head at Turner Fenton Secondary School, overseeing the IB Diploma Programme and managing student registrations and teacher training. Previous roles include IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and IB Biology Teacher, alongside a significant tenure as a Senior Examiner for Biology with the International Baccalaureate. Angela has also contributed to Scouts Canada as Deputy Area Commissioner for Volunteer Development & Training. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from York University.
