David Brooks

David Brooks has extensive experience in marine operations and planning, currently serving as Assistant Manager Marine Operations at Peel Ports Group since August 2018. Responsibilities include acting as the delegated Deputy to the Harbour Master, leading marine safety and compliance efforts, and overseeing the Group Marine Planning Team. Prior roles at Peel Ports include Group Marine Planning Manager and Group Marine Planning Supervisor. Before joining Peel Ports, David held the position of Crew Controller at Thomas Cook Airlines Limited, applying knowledge of flight regulations to ensure compliance in crew management. Early career experience includes roles in educational settings, where David implemented testing procedures and supported students with special educational needs. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Forensic Human Biology from Liverpool Hope University and an AVCE in Communication and Media Studies from Hugh Baird College.
