Stephen Johnson

Stephen Johnson is a seasoned publishing and editorial professional with extensive experience in academic and research roles. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Editor at Taylor & Francis Group since July 2024, Stephen transitioned from PeerJ, where a career began in July 2012 as Publishing Editor for the PeerJ Open Advances series. Prior roles include research scientist and lecturer at the University of Kansas from 2005 to 2017, where Stephen contributed to improved oil recovery research and taught courses in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.
