Francisco Xavier Villanueva Carreon has a strong background in sourcing, procurement, and planning. Francisco Xavier began their career at Kerry Group in 1994, where they held the role of Director for 14 years. In 2008, they joined Safeway as the Strategic Sourcing Director, responsible for leading a team in charge of supply for various goods under the private label, as well as providing food commodity support to the entire company. In 2016, Francisco joined Peet's Coffee, initially as the Senior Director of Sourcing, Procurement, and Planning, and later promoted to the Vice President role.

Francisco Xavier Villanueva Carreon completed their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2002-2004. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Food Technology at Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey from 1991-1994, specializing in the Food Industry.
