Alison Deshields

Alison DeShields currently serves as an Analytical Chemist at Pegasus Laboratories, Inc. since July 2019. Prior to this role, Alison worked as an R&D Microbiologist at Nephron Pharmaceuticals and Q Laboratories, Inc., from 2017 to July 2019 and November 2014 to April 2017, respectively. Alison’s experience in academia includes instructing students at Appalachian State University, where responsibilities included preparing lectures and guiding laboratory instruction. Earlier in Alison's career, significant roles included Laboratory Analyst and Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer Analyst at TestAmerica and teaching science and math at Judy Andrews Alternative High School. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of West Florida.
