Melissa Lawrie

Melissa Lawrie has extensive experience in the field of chemistry, currently serving as an Analytical QC Chemist at Secant Group since October 2025. Prior to this, Melissa worked at WuXi Biologics as a Senior Associate Scientist from January 2022 to March 2025 and held the positions of Chemist I and Associate Chemist at Oakwood Labs from June 2019 to December 2021. Earlier roles include lifeguard positions at Club One Fitness & Aerobics and Sparkling Pool Services, Inc., as well as a hostess at The Drafting Room. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Villanova University, expected in August 2026, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, completed in 2019. Additionally, Melissa earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Downingtown STEM Academy in 2015.
