William Mercke

William Mercke is currently working as a Validation Engineer II at Pegasus Laboratories, Inc. There, William supports product and process development, overseeing manufacturing equipment and commissioning projects. Prior to this role, William was a Process Engineer at Ascend Performance Materials and a Specialty Chemicals Chemist, conducting research on process development. William also has experience as a Graduate Student at the University of Kentucky, focusing on systemic inflammation, and as a Laboratory Intern at the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research, where William worked with electrochemical capacitors. William holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Georgetown College.
