Carie Whalen

Carie Whalen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pre-sales and sales consulting. Currently serving as Senior Director of Specialist Sales Consulting at Pegasystems since December 2019, Carie leads teams focused on Core Pega solutions, including 1-1 Customer Engagement, Customer Service, and Intelligent Automation. Additionally, Carie is a Leadership Member at PreSales Collective, which aims to elevate the role of pre-sales professionals globally. Prior to Pegasystems, Carie held the position of Director of Global Customer Intelligence Practice at SAS from July 2007 to May 2019, overseeing the sales of customer intelligence solutions across the Americas. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at Accenture, where Carie began a career focused on integrating technology into business solutions. Carie holds a B.S. in Management of Information Systems from Kansas State University.
