Deiva Nayagam Meyyappan

Deiva Nayagam Meyyappan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud operations and IT infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Cloud Operations at Pegasystems since March 2022, Deiva leads a global Site Reliability Engineering team overseeing Pega’s SaaS on AWS and GCP. Prior roles include a Senior Manager at Sony, where Deiva managed IT infrastructure across multiple regions and significantly reduced costs by over $10 million through strategic data center consolidation and cloud migration. Previous experiences include leading operations for Unix servers at T-Mobile, ensuring compliance at CVS Health, directing IT operations at PayPal, and managing service delivery at IBM, where Deiva achieved substantial cost reductions through cloud initiatives. Deiva holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Annamalai University.
