Peter Hayes is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in software engineering and development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Developer Productivity Engineering at Pegasystems since July 2014, Peter leads a 35+ member team focused on enhancing the internal development experience for over 1500 Pega developers through infrastructure tools and automation. Previously, Peter held various roles at Fidelity Investments from 1998 to 2014, including Vice President, where responsibilities encompassed the strategic management of a $6 million budget and leading a 45-person software development team. Peter's contributions to Fidelity included successful project leadership in developing a unified managed account product and re-platforming multi-currency trading systems, earning industry recognition for excellence. Peter holds an MBA from Boston College and a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
