Justine Payton

Justine Payton serves as the Managing Editor at ONLY POEMS since November 2023 and holds editorial roles at Ecotone Magazine and The Masters Review, where responsibilities include editing and guest reviewing. Additionally, Justine contributes as a Junior Writer for The Pocket PhD, focusing on ghostwriting for various clients. Leadership capabilities are demonstrated through the role of Chicago Conservation Corp Leader at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, while previous experience includes serving as Administrative Coordinator at HEAL Trafficking and as Administrative Associate & Editor at The Institute for Vaishnava Studies. Justine is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, complemented by a Fellowship in Climate Change from Terra.do, and holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Affairs as well as Economics from American University.
