Carlos Velázquez

Carlos Velázquez has worked in a variety of positions ranging from administrative coordinator to growth marketing specialist. Carlos worked as an administrative coordinator for the Carleton University Students' Association, where they led various marketing campaigns and partnered with external organizations to develop programs and collaborated closely with other departments. Carlos also worked as an English as a Second Language teacher for Speaking-agency, teaching English and Spanish to French-speaking kids and regularly communicating with parents to ensure maximum learning. Carlos worked as a guest service representative for Carleton University, where they managed guest bookings, handled emergencies and unique situations, and worked in a team when handling conferences and summer camps. Carlos also worked as a cashier for Rideau River Residence Association, handling cash and credit transactions, refunds, and ensuring the store was always stocked. Currently, Carlos is working as a growth marketing specialist for Peggy.

Carlos Velázquez completed a Fellowship Program with Venture for Canada in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of International Business degree with a focus on International Marketing from Carleton University in 2019. During their time as a student, they also attended Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2017 and 2018. Before attending university, they completed their high school education at Bodwell High School in 2014. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications through LinkedIn, including Google Ads Essential Training, Advertising on Facebook, Introduction to Graphic Design, and Google Analytics Essential Training, among others.
