Pehchaan The Street School (Trust)
Bhumika Patidar is currently a Human Resources Intern at Pehchaan The Street School (Trust) since August 2023 and serves as Project Head and Volunteer for the National Service Scheme at LSR from December 2022. In addition, Bhumika Patidar is a student in the Department of Psychology at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, where involvement includes membership in the press and photography team. Bhumika Patidar also performed with the LSR Dramatics Society between February and July 2023. Educational background includes pursuing a degree at Lady Shri Ram College for Women from 2022 to 2026 and a High School Diploma from Kendriya Vidyalaya, completed in June 2022.

Pehchaan, a word that means ‘to recognise’- To recognise the dire need to educate our children, irrespective of their pockets, is our motive. For over 7 years now, while we have emphasized the value of education as a fundamental right, that ought to be accessible to every child out there with a desire to learn, we have always tried to go beyond that. The institutionalization and commodification of education across our country has severely restricted the ability for the underprivileged to access means of vocational as well as academic studies, and that’s the barrier that we aim to break with our street school.
