Shweta Mehta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public relations and human resources. Currently serving as the Head of Public Relations at KAIZEN- The Career Counselling Club and at Illuminer Counsel PGDAV Chapter, Shweta is adept at promoting events and managing social media presence. In parallel roles, Shweta heads the Women Development Cell at NSS PGDAV (Morning) and oversees the content creation department at Diligentia - The Entrepreneurship Cell. Additionally, Shweta is involved in human resources as a People Inclusion Onboarding and Development professional at HCDS Technologies and as an HR intern at Pehchaan The Street School. With a strong educational background in commerce from Delhi University and experience in leadership and team management, Shweta demonstrates a commitment to youth development and professional growth.

Pehchaan, a word that means ‘to recognise’- To recognise the dire need to educate our children, irrespective of their pockets, is our motive. For over 7 years now, while we have emphasized the value of education as a fundamental right, that ought to be accessible to every child out there with a desire to learn, we have always tried to go beyond that. The institutionalization and commodification of education across our country has severely restricted the ability for the underprivileged to access means of vocational as well as academic studies, and that’s the barrier that we aim to break with our street school.
