Alejandra Rivera

Alejandra Rivera's most recent work experience is as a Graphic Designer at Pela, where they contribute to the product design process by designing various graphic elements. Alejandra also designs artworks for laser engraving and print programs, as well as packaging, hang tags, user manuals, and other printed material. Before that, they worked as a Graphic Artist & Designer at Whole Foods Market, where they were responsible for chalkboard lettering and illustration for different displays, designing graphics for promotions and store signage, and producing print signage for all departments. Alejandra also has experience as a Graphic Designer at Kiwi Collection, a Contract Graphic Designer at EuroFest BC Society and Centre Street Church, a Videographer Assistant Contract at Save the Children Canada, a Print Production Designer at Printwise, a Graphic Design Coop at Gallery Gachet, and a Graphic Design Intern at december2nd.

Alejandra Rivera pursued their education in various institutions, with a focus on design and communication. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where they obtained a Bachelor of Design degree in Communication Design. Prior to that, they attended Medicine Hat College from 2008 to 2010, earning an Applied Degree of Design in Visual Communications. In recent years, Alejandra continued to enhance their skills and knowledge through professional certifications. In 2019, they enrolled in BrainStation for a Certification of UI (User Interface) Design. Additionally, in 2018, they attended RED Academy to attain a foundation in Digital Marketing.
