Jaana Villberg

Jaana Villberg is an experienced program manager with a strong background in humanitarian aid and development. Currently serving as a Program Manager at Pelastakaa Lapset ry - Save the Children Finland since November 2019, Villberg previously held roles including Program Officer at the Finnish Red Cross, Humanitarian Coordinator at Finn Church Aid, and Human Rights Officer for the EU Delegation to Ethiopia. With extensive experience at Finn Church Aid in various capacities related to East and Southern Africa, along with internship roles at the United Nations Secretariat and the Finnish NGO Foundation for Human Rights, Villberg's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Development Studies from the University of Helsinki.
