Paula Beaty

Paula Beaty has extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles, primarily focused on embedded systems and electronic design automation (EDA). Notably, Paula served as Engineering Manager for Imaging Firmware and Image Quality at Pelco, leading the development of award-winning IP security cameras. Previous roles include co-founding Tuscany Design Automation, where Paula developed a comprehensive EDA platform, and teaching as Affiliate Faculty at Colorado State University. With a solid foundation in C++ and various web technologies, Paula's career spans multiple contracting positions, during which efforts included the development of GUIs and compilers. Paula holds a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Design, alongside a MSME and BSES from Colorado State University.
