Dr. Charlotte Weil von der Ahe

Dr. Charlotte Weil von der Ahe has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Dr. Charlotte is currently serving as the Director of Communications and Government Affairs at Helsing starting from December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Büroleiterin in the Büro des Bundesvorsitzenden for the Freie Demokratische Partei from March 2018 to November 2021. Dr. Charlotte also held the position of Persönliche Referentin des Fraktionsvorsitzenden at the FDP Fraktion im Deutschen Bundestag from March 2018 to June 2020. Before their political career, they worked as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at Bundestagsbüro Christian Lindner MdB from October 2017 to February 2018, and as a Wahlkampfassistentin for the Freie Demokratische Partei from February 2017 to September 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Contributor to the Berlin Policy Journal for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik e.V. from January 2016 to January 2017.

Dr. Charlotte Weil von der Ahe completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Management with Chinese Studies from the University of Nottingham from 2007 to 2010. Dr. Charlotte then pursued a Master of Science in Modern Chinese Studies at the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2012. Following this, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford between 2012 and 2016.
