Andy Pymer has had a distinguished career in the water and regulation sectors, serving in various senior roles at Wessex Water since 1992, including Chief Finance Officer and Managing Director of Regulated Business. Additionally, Andy has experience as a Board Member at the Environmental Markets Board since June 2023, overseeing the governance of Environmental Markets in the UK. As a Non-Executive Director and joint-Chair of Pelican Business Services UK, Andy contributes to managing significant financial operations for the joint venture. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Water Engineer for Tearfund, where Andy worked on a major water supply project in Uganda. Andy holds an MA in Physical Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in International Development - Water Management from Cranfield University.

We started life in 2001 as Bristol Wessex Billing Services Ltd. We were established by Bristol Water and Wessex Water as a joint venture company to manage all their metering, billing and collection operations, and to serve as a point of contact for all non operational customer enquiries. Today, we are highly skilled in every area of our business and deliver award winning customer service (both to our clients and, in turn their customers). In 2015, we embarked on a journey involving all staff and stakeholders to develop a new name and visual identity that would reflect our company vision, mission and business objectives.
