Steven Walker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Steven began their career as a Shop Mechanic at R.S.C. Rental Service Corporation in 2003 and then worked as a Crane assembler/Electrician's apprentice at P&H Cranes (now Kone cranes) from 2006 to 2010.

In 2010, they joined SWS Environmental Services as an HSE Technician, where they planned and implemented safety programs for the Deepwater Horizon spill clean-up efforts. Steven also coordinated daily safety briefings and worked with medical facilities for injured employees.

From 2012 to 2013, Steven worked as a Field Service Mechanic at Techcrane International, where they assembled and erected cranes and fabricated gantry platforms.

In 2012, they also worked as an HSE Technician at Cajun Contractors, where they created and implemented safety programs and conducted daily safety briefings.

From 2013 to 2017, Steven was a Student at Southeastern Louisiana University.

From 2016 to 2018, they joined Vali Cooper International as a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they supported maintenance contracts for the Department of Energy's Strategic Petroleum Reserve and worked on a construction project for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System.

Currently, Steven is working as a Mechanical Engineer at Pelican Energy Consultants, LLC, starting in 2023.

Steven Walker attended Gulf Coast State College from 2001 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Pre-Engineering. Later, from 2013 to 2017, they pursued a degree in Engineering Technologies with a focus on Mechanical Engineering at Southeastern Louisiana University.
