Simon Regnard, PhD

Simon Regnard, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of AI and research. Simon is currently working as a Senior AI Engineer at Pelico since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of AI Engineer at the same company from June 2021 to December 2021. At Pelico, Simon's work focused on empowering factory teams with agility and utilizing AI-assisted recommendations for effective operations management.

Before joining Pelico, Simon worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles from May 2017 to May 2021. During this time, they contributed to research in their field of expertise.

Simon also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at École Polytechnique from November 2016 to March 2017. Prior to that, they were a PhD Student Researcher at the same institution from September 2013 to November 2016.

Simon Regnard, PhD, has a comprehensive education history in the field of particle physics. Simon began their formal education in 2007 at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève, where they completed preparatory classes for France's Grandes Écoles. In 2009, they moved on to École Polytechnique, where they obtained an Engineer's degree and Joint Master's Degree in High Energy Physics, completing their studies in 2013. In the same year, they continued their education at École Polytechnique, pursuing a PhD in Particle Physics, which they successfully completed in 2016. Prior to their PhD, they also spent a year, from 2012 to 2013, at ETH Zürich, pursuing a Joint Master's degree in High Energy Physics.
