Chad Packard

Chad joined Pelion in 2007 as an intern. Now he has invested in some of our most exciting companies in Funds IV, V, and VI. Chad invests in entrepreneurs who are hungry to change the way the world operates. Chad’s experience and background helps both Pelion and our entrepreneurs to continually push boundaries. Chad has led our firm’s Seed Stage investing efforts, which has led to interesting early deals like Neighbor, Rivet Health, and Steady MD. Chad is particularly interested in Vertical SaaS, AI/ML and Cybersecurity. During his tenure at Pelion, Chad has sourced, led, or co-led more than 25 investments including Divvy, Weave, and DataScience.com. Chad currently sits on 13 portfolio company boards including Canopy Tax, UNIFI, and Owlet.

Chad is a member of the state bar association of California. Chad holds a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University, a J.D. from Santa Clara University, and an M.B.A. from Brigham Young University.
