Anxin Zhao

Anxin (Roxanne) Zhao is a Tech Lead Data Scientist at Pelmorex Corp since May 2019, where expertise includes designing algorithms for customer insights and enhancing audience engagement through behavior-based recommendations. Prior roles at Pelmorex as a Data Scientist involved leading the creation of data pipelines and deploying machine learning models for user behavior analysis. As a Data Engineer, contributions included developing pipelines for geospatial data and employing PySpark for retail location clustering. Additionally, Anxin holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University. Anxin also currently serves as a Data Scientist at The Weather Network.
