Samuel Pinzon has over 10 years of work experience, starting with their role as Finance & Accounting Manager at Chris & Phil's Body Shop, Inc. from July 2006 to June 2009. Samuel analyzed and evaluated financial results, prepared cash flow forecasts, and improved administrative processes.

Samuel Pinzon, CPSM, FRM has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, which they obtained from 1997 to 2002. Samuel then pursued a Master's degree in Economics at The University of British Columbia from 2004 to 2005. Later, Samuel completed their Master of Science in Finance with a specialization in Finance and Financial Management Services at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, from 2008 to 2009.

In addition to their educational achievements, Samuel has obtained several certifications. Samuel earned the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation from the Institute of Supply Management - Central Michigan, Inc. in March 2019. In June 2013, they obtained the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Samuel also holds an Energy Investment Analysis Certificate from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business, which they obtained in February 2010. Additionally, they obtained a Commercial Contracts Management Certificate from Villanova University in 2010 and a Financial Services Management Certificate also from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business in December 2009.

Samuel is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation through the CFA Institute.
