John Lee Matanguihan

John Lee Matanguihan has a varied work experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and engineering roles. John Lee currently serves as the Head of Business Intelligence at Penbrothers, where they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Penbrothers from May 2022 to April 2023. Before joining Penbrothers, John worked as a Sr. Business Insights Analyst at TaskUs, where they translated data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making. John Lee started at TaskUs in November 2021 and ended their tenure in May 2022. John also has experience as a Data Analyst and Sourcing In Charge at Shield Mission, where they were involved in a global Covid mitigation project. John Lee started in October 2020 and left in November 2021. John began their career as an Intern at the Manila International Airport Authority in April 2012.

John Lee Matanguihan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering at the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Laguna from 2008 to 2013. John Lee then pursued a Master of Data Science and Analytics at Batangas State University from 2022 to 2024. In addition to their formal education, John also obtained various certifications, such as Learning Data Governance from LinkedIn in July 2022, SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis from LinkedIn in June 2022, and Introduction to Data Studio from Google Analytics in May 2022. Other certifications include Power BI Essential Training, Data Analytics: Dashboards vs. Data Stories, Learning Google Data Studio for Marketers, Tableau Essential Training (2020.1), Data Visualization for Data Analysis and Analytics, Learning Data Analytics, Learning Data Science: Manage Your Team, Web Development from Shaw Academy in September 2021, and many more. John is also a Licensed Electronics Engineer, obtained from the Professional Regulation Commission in March 2017.
