Mathew Cox

Mathew Cox is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fire and emergency services, currently serving as a Board Member of the Firefighter Relief Fund and holding the positions of Lieutenant and Relief Battalion Chief at Pender EMS and Fire, Inc. since February 2018. Additionally, Mathew is a Deputy Sheriff with the Pender County Sheriff’s Office and a Fire Rescue Instructor at Brunswick Community College. Mathew owns Carolina Public Safety, LLC and iFixTaserE2Error, specializing in public safety training and equipment repair. Beyond these roles, Mathew has held various instructional positions at multiple institutions, including Cape Fear Community College and Coastal Carolina CPR LLC. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration and numerous qualifications in fire science, law enforcement, and emergency management.
