Ahmet Cin

Ahmet Cin was born in 1966 in Sakarya. He completed primary school in Sakarya and secondary school in Pendik. Ahmet Cin, who graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Economics, did his military service in Amasya.

He started his professional career as a financial advisor after university. He served as the chairman of the board of directors of a company that manufactures and exports engineering plastics in Pendik.

In Turkey's most difficult and turbulent times; In his political life, which started with the dream of a freer, more prosperous and more democratic Turkey, he served as Pendik District Board Member of the Welfare Party and Pendik District Vice President of the Virtue Party.

He was elected as Pendik Municipality and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council Member from the Virtue Party in the 1999 Local Elections. In the same years, he served at their district as the Deputy Mayor of Pendik Municipality. He took an active role in many Non-Governmental Organizations, especially Pendikspor Club Presidency. Since 2005, he served as the Founding President and Chairman of the Board of Pendik Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (PESİAD), which contributes to the local economic development goals of Pendik.

He was elected as the Mayor of Pendik on 31 March 2019.
