Brendon Stoneburner

Research Associate at Pendulum

Brendon Stoneburner began their work experience in 2014 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Under the supervision of Principal Investigator Chad Saltikov, they collected samples and developed PCR methods for gene analysis. Brendon also optimized growth media for bacteria. From 2015 to 2016, they continued their work at the University as a Junior Research Specialist, where they developed DNA extraction and purification protocols, performed data analysis, and investigated the microbial ecology of groundwater sediments. In 2016, Brendon joined Whole Biome Inc as a Research Associate, where their role is currently ongoing.

Brendon Stoneburner attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology.
