Jay Packer has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jay started their career as a Web Application Programmer at Techsurance.com, where they developed software modules for insurance quotes and applications. Jay then worked as a Research Assistant at the Visualization and Modeling Laboratory, where they redesigned lab websites and sub-sites for lab projects. After that, they worked at Southwest Research Institute as an Analyst, specializing in the development of scientific instrumentation for space probes and satellites.
Their next role was at Intrepid Learning Solutions as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development of their Mobile Learning Platform and built a web analytics system. Jay then joined Limelight Networks as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on developing backend systems for their global content distribution network and SaaS products.
Following their tenure at Limelight Networks, Jay worked at DefenseStorm as a Full Stack Engineer, focusing on product design and user experience for their cybersecurity management application. Currently, they are a Staff Engineer at Pendulum Therapeutics, leading the development and design of their Laboratory Information Management System and related tools for their biotechnology research.
Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated expertise in software development, product design, and user experience.
From 2003 to 2007, Jay Packer attended The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
