Melissa C. is an accomplished HR technology leader with extensive experience in modernizing HR systems and processes. Currently serving as Senior Director of HR Technology & Payroll at PenFed Credit Union since November 2016, Melissa oversees the HR technology function, driving best practices in system design and implementation of ancillary HR systems. Previously, Melissa held the position of PMO Senior Manager - HRIS at Lidl US, where responsibilities included implementing the SAP HCM system and managing a team of HRIS Managers. With a background in managing benefits HRIS teams at Akima, LLC, and experience in HR generalist roles, Melissa has a robust knowledge of employee benefits, data integrity, and HR reporting systems. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and Services from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Strayer University.
