Nicholas Ng

Nicholas Ng is a design systems lead at PenFed Credit Union, where since April 2021, leadership of the design system migration from Sketch to Figma has resulted in a 33% reduction of components and a 50% faster developer handoff. Previously, Nicholas served as a junior UX designer, enhancing interfaces and reducing design delivery time by 30%. Prior experience includes a UIUX designer role at Gamercraft, where art direction and design management were key responsibilities, and leading a research team at Syracuse University to improve recycling practices. Nicholas also worked as a graphic designer for nine dots, focusing on visual content for marketing presentations. Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Syracuse University and attended Rhode Island School of Design.
