Chengchen Li

Chengchen Li is the Founder and CEO of Penguin Benefits, Inc., established in June 2020, with a mission to simplify access to benefits for families. Prior experience includes serving as an Advisor at Enya.ai from May 2019 to 2021, and a US Insurance Product Development Actuary at John Hancock Financial Services from September 2012 to April 2019, where Chengchen launched four products generating $90 million in annual revenue. Chengchen also held roles as a Senior Actuarial Associate and Actuarial Intern at Manulife, focusing on IFRS liabilities and NAIC reserves, respectively. Early career experience includes internships at Mercer in HR consulting. Chengchen Li earned a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University in 2020 and a Specialist degree in Actuarial Science with a major in Mathematics from the University of Toronto in 2010.
