Carlos Ciria has extensive experience in the IT sector, working in various roles for different companies. Carlos began their career at SC Johnson Wax as an IT Specialist from October 1996 to September 1998. Carlos then moved on to ASP-EDS as a Project Manager in the healthcare industry from October 1998 to March 2000. Carlos then served as the IT Director for Grupo Mistral - Automoción Grupo VW from April 2000 to June 2003. After that, they worked as an IT Manager for both The Stein Group and Stein Management Company from July 2003 to May 2006. Carlos then joined DiR Corporate as an IT Manager from May 2006 to December 2006. Carlos then joined Circulo de Lectores as the CIO and Director of Organization, Information Technology, and Business Support from November 2009 to December 2013.

Carlos then worked for Bertelsmann, where they held multiple roles. Carlos started as the CIO for Spain in January 2007 and also served as the IT Manager for Librerias Bertrand during this time. From October 2008 to December 2009, they worked as the CIO of Direct Group Portugal within Bertelsmann.

Currently, Carlos is the CIO CDO CISO for Spain, Portugal, and Latin America at Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial, S.A.U. Carlos has been a member of the Executive Board since December 2013. Penguin Random House is the world's largest trade book publisher with a global workforce of over 10,000 people. Carlos is responsible for overseeing the company's digital operations and security across these regions.
