Dan Sheets

Dan Sheets has over 27 years of work experience in the technology industry. Dan is currently working as the Director Systems Solutions Engineering Advanced Solutions Group at Penguin Computing since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director Of Software Engineering at SMART Embedded Computing from July 2019 to May 2020. From January 2014 to May 2020, they held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Artesyn Embedded Technologies. Before that, they worked as the Director, Software Engineer, Embedded Computing at Emerson from October 2009 to December 2013. Dan also has experience as a Software Engineering Manager at Emerson Network Power from January 2008 to September 2009 and at Motorola from March 1999 to January 2008. Dan started their career at Motorola as a Sr. Software Engineer in March 1993 and continued in that role until January 1999.

Dan Sheets obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering from Northern Arizona University. Dan has also completed a certification program called "Introduction to AI in the Data Center" offered by NVIDIA, although the specific timeframe of when this certification was obtained is unknown.
