Christina Courtney

Christina Courtney has extensive experience in education, primarily at Castilleja School since August 2007, where roles include Middle School Life Science Teacher, Middle School Computer Science Teacher, and Makerspace Teacher. Christina developed a differentiated life science curriculum focused on design thinking and inquiry-based learning. Additionally, Christina has coached water polo and swimming at both the upper and middle school levels. Previous roles include a charitable outreach contractor at PhilanthroPal, a curriculum evaluator at WestEd, and site director for Peninsula Bridge, where Christina designed engaging math curricula. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Educational Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
