Peninsula Clean Energy
Lauren Mathisen currently serves as a Power Resources Specialist at Peninsula Clean Energy, where responsibilities include supporting contract administration and the settlement process for long-term power agreements and resource adequacy. Previously, Lauren held the role of Project Manager at Tanko Lighting, overseeing energy-efficient LED street light conversions for municipalities. Additional experience includes positions as a Climate Corps Fellow at SEI: Building Leaders for a Resilient World and a Community Engagement Fellow within the City of Sunnyvale's Environmental Services Department. Lauren also contributed as an EXCEL Research Scholar at Lafayette College, conducting research on the economic and environmental impact of dam removal, and participated in a research program at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, focused on marine debris. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from Lafayette College.
