Mahesh I.

Mahesh I. currently serves as the Head of the Oncology Unit at Peninsula Health since March 2025 and is a Medical Oncologist at Alfred Health since September 2018. Prior roles include Clinical Director at Gippsland Regional Integrated Cancer Service from January 2023 to March 2025, and in academia as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor and Research Fellow at Monash University from May 2016 to March 2025. Mahesh has also held positions as a Medical Oncologist at Latrobe Regional Hospital from November 2015 to March 2025, and the E.J. Whitten Fellow at Monash University during 2015. Previous experience encompasses Clinical Director at Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Service HRICS from September 2012 to October 2015 and Medical Oncologist at Goulburn Valley Health during the same period. Additionally, Mahesh worked as a Medical Oncologist at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from August 2010 to August 2011 and served as a Clinical Research Fellow at Cambridge University from October 2006 to October 2009.
