Prasanna Venkataraman is a Non-Invasive Imaging Fellow at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne since February 2022 and a Graduate Research Fellow at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute since August 2018, focusing on primary prevention, cardiovascular imaging, and health economics as part of a PhD program at Monash University. Prasanna has extensive clinical experience as a Cardiology Registrar at Peninsula Health, The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health, and Eastern Health, as well as serving as a Senior General Medical Registrar at the National Referral Hospital. Prasanna completed a Fellowship in Cardiology from the Royal Australian College of Physicians and holds a Diploma in Health Economics and Policy in addition to dual Bachelor's Degrees in Law and Medicine from Monash University.
