Elyse Steinberger is an experienced educator and arts professional with a diverse background in teaching and art direction. Currently a teacher at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center since September 2021, Elyse also founded Every Child is an Artist, an art studio providing tailored enrichment classes for children aged 5-10. Previous roles include art and substitute teacher at Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, Jewish resource specialist and art teacher at Brotherhood Way Preschool, and art teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School. Elyse has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Carnegie Mellon University and an early childhood education certificate from Skyline College. Additional experience includes serving as art director and assistant art director in the publishing industry.
