Seth H.

Seth H. has a wide range of work experience in the health and wellness industry. Seth started their career in 1998 at the Wenatchee Valley YMCA, where they worked as a Day Camp Leader, Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Front Desk Representative. Seth then moved on to the YMCA of Tacoma Pierce County, where they served as the Preschool Aquatics Director.

In 2003, Seth joined the YMCA of the Mid-Peninsula as the Youth and Family Director, overseeing Aquatics and Youth and Family programming. Seth also started and managed Adult basketball leagues.

In 2005, Seth took on the role of Executive Program Director at the Yakima Family YMCA. Shortly after, they transitioned to the PJCC - Peninsula Jewish Community Center, where they held various positions over the years. Seth started as the Aquatics Director and then became the Athletic Center Director. Later on, Seth served as the Chief Wellness Officer and currently holds the position of Chief Business Officer.

Additionally, Seth worked as a Regional Aquatics Director at Club One, where they provided oversight for all Aquatic facilities. Seth also served as the Aquatics Director at the PJCC location within Club One. Furthermore, Seth worked as a JCC Association Health and Wellness Consultant, offering consulting services to JCCs across the US with a focus on West Coast-based centers.

In 2014, Seth joined Active Wellness LLC as the General Manager/Athletic Center Director for the PJCC location. Seth was responsible for overseeing the fitness operations, which included managing a 50,000 square foot fitness facility, multiple pools, and various amenities.

Throughout their career, Seth has demonstrated expertise in Aquatics operations, program consulting, membership, and fitness center management. Seth has successfully grown revenue and implemented operational brand standards in their roles.

Seth H. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management with a focus in Leisure Studies from California State University - Eastbay. Before that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Mathematics and General Studies from Wenatchee Valley Community College. In terms of additional certifications, Seth obtained the Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification from the National Recreation and Park Association in November 2020. In January 2023, they received certifications from LinkedIn in "Become a Financial Analyst," "Develop Your Finance and Accounting Skills," "Leading When You're Not in Charge," and "Managerial Finance Foundations." In 2017, Seth became the Aquatic Track Chair at the Professional Conference of JCCA. Seth also has certifications in Aquatic Management from the American Red Cross (2013), Level 2 Swimming Coach from the American Swimming Coaches Association (2013), Safety for Swim Coaches from the American Red Cross (2013), IHRSA Institute Graduate from IHRSA (2014), and the Management Development Course from Club One Inc (2008). Seth is also a Certified Aquatic Facility Operator from the National Recreation and Park Association (2007). Seth attended the Aquatics Institute at JCCA in 2007 and holds certifications as a CPR/AED and O2 Instructor from the American Red Cross and a Lifeguard Instructor from the YMCA, although specific dates are not provided for these two certifications.
