Nacho de Miguel has a varied work experience spanning over two decades. Nacho most recently worked at Peninsula as the Head of LNG, Alternative Fuels & Sustainability. In this role, they led the company's efforts in sustainable energy, focusing on creating and managing the LNG and Alternative Fuels bunkering business. Nacho also developed the company's presence in the renewables space to provide cleaner and net zero marine fuels to customers worldwide.

Prior to this, Nacho worked at Union Fenosa Gas, where they held multiple roles. These included Director LNG Business Development, where they were responsible for the company's LNG and natural gas origination and business development on a global scale. Nacho also lead strategic projects with government entities and represented the company with local authorities. Additionally, Nacho served as the Manager LNG Contracts & Shipping, overseeing LNG marketing and trading management and optimizing LNG cargoes.

Before their time at Union Fenosa Gas, Nacho worked at Union Fenosa, where they served as the Fuels Manager (International Power Generation). In this role, they negotiated and managed natural gas procurement for power plants, both in Spain and internationally. Nacho also analyzed energy markets and prices and provided fuels contract management for IPPs under PPA's.

Prior to that, Nacho worked at CEPSA as the Head of International Bunker Trading. In this role, they managed the trading desk and contracts with other oil companies. Nacho also oversaw sales channels for CEPSA's ports in Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, and Panama.

Nacho's early career included working at Caja Mediterráneo in corporate finance and treasury management.

Throughout their career, Nacho has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and expertise in the energy and fuels industry.

Nacho de Miguel completed their education in a chronological order. From 1992 to 1997, they attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics. In 2002 and 2003, they pursued a Curso Superior in Negocio Energético at the Club Español de la Energía. In 2007, they attended the IESE Business School for the Management Program and earned a Professional Development Degree (PDD).
